Our Superstore has roomsets showing how your home can be adapted to meet your needs so that everyday life becomes easier. Modified Kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms are on display and there is even room for you to privately test drive your next mobility scooter outside without fear of traffic or pedestrians.

It really is the one stop shop for all your disability needs and with easy parking should be your first choice for every item, from a can opener to a stair lift.

Scooter Servicing

At Ambucare we really know scooters. That’s because we run the Stafford Shopmobility Centre, so thousands of people have rented our scooters and give us great feedback about each of them. The scooters we hire are many different makes and models so that each hirer can be matched to the best machine. This results in an unsurpassed knowledge of which scooters are the most reliable, which manufacturers have the best back-up and which are the easiest (and therefore cheapest) to service. These ‘hidden’ features need to be taken into account by the prospective purchaser, as well as those detailed on the manufacturers literature!

To meet our customers needs, we now have one of the most comprehensive scooter servicing facilities in the region and this is based at our warehouse in Romford Road.

Our servicing package includes the following:

Batteries - 7 individual checks

Chassis and seat - 7 individual checks

Controller - 11 individual checks

Electrical - 7 individual checks

Accessories - 4 individual checks

Motors and Actuators - 8 individual checks

Wheels and Tyres - 6 individual checks

Each Scooter is then given a full drive profile dynamic test run checking a further 18 areas
